    Meal changes may be made for students who have a medical or physical condition that requires food substitutions or special food preparation that is different from the regular school menu. Contact your child's school nurse for a request form to be filled out by your child's doctor regarding your child's special needs.

    Common food allergens in children include:

    • Artificial colors and preservatives
    • Berries
    • Chocolate
    • Citrus fruits
    • Eggs
    • Fish and shellfish
