Hello there! I am Dr. Gallagher. I have been involved in the education industry for 30 years and am pursuing my passion for community engagement and the future of America through leadership at Lake Park School District. I will continually update the community through my blog, which you can find to the left. Please know that I am always accessible to all of you.
Community Participation Ensures our Excellence
The successes and achievements of our students and staff would not be possible without our strong relationship with the community. Providing the keystone for this relationship is a multifaceted communications program of which this web site is an integral part. We encourage you to visit the many sites on our web, particularly all of our individual school sites. We urge all Lake Park residents to take advantage of the many opportunities to become involved in the schools. We invite the community to volunteer in our schools, visit them, participate in school functions, take advantage of our many Community Education and Recreation activities, and attend Board of Education meetings.
Biography
Dr. Gallagher has been Superintendent since 1997. He was an elementary and secondary principal in the Bethel Park School District for 15 years prior to coming to Lake Park School District. He was a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District from 1976-1984. Dr. Gallagher holds a Doctor of Education degree from Stephen F. Austin University and Master of Education and Bachelor of Science degrees from Tussey University.
