The purpose of The Student Government Organization, or SGO, is to serve as a voice for the student population, to address student issues and concerns, and to organize events for the student body.

The Student Government Organization is divided into four branches.

    1. The Executive Council discusses and addresses school-wide and class-wide issues.  It is comprised of five executive officers from each grade level, including the respective Class Presidents and Vice-Presidents.
    2. The Student Activity Council organizes school events, ranging from the Talent Show to the Senior Prom.  It is comprised over ten class representatives from each grade level.
    3. The Student Assembly serves as a forum for communication between the entire student population, the Executive Council, and the school administration.  It is comprised of one student representative per 34 students on each grade level.
    4. The Leadership Class is a group of students on the freshman and sophomore level who are taught skills that will prepare them for leadership roles in the future.  The school-wide C.O.S.A., who is responsible for the school-wide student government organization, can be found in Room 7C1.

Students are encouraged to visit the Student Government Organization club page where they can read about the minutes and various class and school activities.
