    I began my teaching career in the fall of 1995 at Bald Eagle Area School District.  In 1997, I relocated to State College and began teaching science at Independence High School.  I teach Biology, Human Physiology, and AP Biology.  I also serve as the Eco-Act advisor, Envirothon co-advisor and the Senior Class co-advisor.
     
    I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education degree (Biology with a Chemistry minor) from Millersville University in May 1995.  I earned my Master of Science in Education with a focus in administration from Bucknell University in February 2004.
     
    Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two daughters, and our lansier newf puppy, Liam.
