    My name is Beth Hopkins.  I am originally from the Lonestar State.  I moved to Pennsylvania when I was 6.  I am an alumna of State High and a Penn State Graduate.  I have been teaching Social Studies for four years at Independence High.

    I post all homework assignments on the homework page.  If your child forgets their assignment or was absent from class, the assignment can be accessed right here on my web page.  Simply click "Homework" and select the assignment that was missed.

  • Registration for 2022-2023 kindergarten begins on February 14. Children who turn age 5 by August 31, 2022 are eligible for kindergarten. Register at Liberty Elementary School and bring:
     » Proof of residency (i.e. current utility bill)
     » Immunization record
     » Birth certificate
     » Emergency contact number
